360 CCTV cameras enforce safety at Uppal Stadium for India Vs English Test Match

HYDERABAD: A total of 1,500 police personnel have been deployed, and 360 CCTV cameras installed by Rachakonda police ahead of the India vs. England Test Match at Uppal Stadium.
Rachakonda police commissionerate is taking significant security measures in preparation for the India vs. England Test Match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad from January 26-29, 2024.
With a seating capacity of approximately 39,600, Uppal Cricket Stadium has undertaken unprecedented precautions to ensure a smooth and incident-free Test Match day.
To ensure the safety of players and spectators during the India vs. England Test Match in Hyderabad, Rachakonda Police has made elaborate bandobust arrangements.
Collaborating with various wings, including Law and Order (650), Security (200), Traffic (250), TSSP/AR force with 10 platoons (200), Octopus One team (40), Mounted Police (10), Vajra (10)
SB, CI Cell, Intelligence, CCS staff, SOT, and 4 fire tenders equipped with a firefighting squad, a total of about 15,00 police personnel have been strategically deployed for effective security coordination.
Gate No.1 exclusively caters to players, with restricted access for others. Spectators are directed to enter through designated gates based on their ticketing
To bolster security, a network of 360 CCTV cameras is being installed in and around the stadium, including vehicle checkpoints. These cameras cover the entire area
centralized command & control room has been established to monitor all CCTV footage promptly and facilitate immediate actions as needed.
