Don't Know to wire a LED chandelier LIGHT

1. Turn off the power to the chandelier at the breaker box.

This is an important safety precaution to take before you start any electrical work.

2.Remove the old chandelier from the ceiling.

Note: Use a voltage tester to make sure that the power is off before you start working.

3. Identify the wires in the chandelier

Two or three wires, depending on the chandelier. The black wire is hot, the white wire neutral, and the green or bare copper wire ground.

4. Strip about 1/2 inch

Remove roughly a half an inch's worth of insulation from each end of the wires.

5. Connect the hot wire

Attach the chandelier hot wire to the ceiling hot wire. Wrap the wires with electrical tape or a wire connector.

6. Attach the neutral wire

Connect the chandelier's neutral wire to the ceiling's neutral wire and ground wire, replace the chandelier, and turn on the power at the breaker box.
